MINSK, May 15. /TASS/. Representatives of foreign military-diplomatic corps from 11 countries, accredited in Belarus, visited facilities along the Belarusian-Polish border and confirmed the absence of covert military activity near the frontier, the Belarusian Defense Ministry said.
"Foreign military and diplomatic representatives from 11 countries accredited in Belarus visited facilities along the Belarus-Poland border," the ministry said on its Telegram channel.
According to the ministry’s press service, military attaches inspected the infrastructure and technical equipment at the Brest international road border crossing. The delegation was also shown the Pererov pedestrian checkpoint in Belovezhskaya Pushcha, which remains closed due to the position of the Polish side.
"During the visit, the military representatives had an opportunity to verify Belarus’s peaceful intentions and the absence of covert military activity near the border. Following the trip, the diplomats noted Belarus’s readiness for constructive dialogue," the ministry said.
