Trump must be patient if he wants to reach agreement with Iran — Araghchi

The top Iranian diplomat responded to CNN reports suggesting that Donald Trump has grown frustrated over the closure of the Strait of Hormuz and Tehran’s steadfast stance

NEW DELHI, May 15. /TASS/. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has advised US President Donald Trump to exercise patience if Washington genuinely seeks to reach an agreement with Tehran.

"It’s not a matter of patience or not. This is a serious issue. If they want to find a solution, they must be patient," Araghchi stated during a news conference in New Delhi. His comments came in response to CNN reports suggesting that Trump has grown frustrated over the closure of the Strait of Hormuz and Tehran’s steadfast stance.

On May 12, CNN reported that the US administration is increasingly contemplating the possibility of resuming full-scale military action against Iran.
