MOSCOW, March 23. /TASS/. Delegations of the United States and Ukraine have started discussing details of the ceasefire in Ukraine in the Saudi capital, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, being a member of Kiev's team, reported.
"We’ve started the meeting with the American team in Riyadh," he wrote on his X page. "The agenda includes proposals to protect energy facilities and critical infrastructure. Today, we’re working through a number of complex technical issues — our delegation includes energy experts as well as military representatives from the naval and air components," Umerov added.
Russian Presidential Aide Yury Ushakov announced earlier that Russian and US experts would hold consultations in Riyadh on March 24. The Russian delegation will be led by Karasin and Sergey Beseda, an advisor to the FSB director. The parties are expected to discuss the Black Sea Initiative.
