World has become safer place after Putin-Trump call, says top Hungarian diplomat

According to Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto, the Russian and US presidents have taken a big step toward peace

BUDAPEST, March 18. /TASS/. The world has become a safer place after today’s phone talks between the Russian and US presidents, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said.

"Great news from Washington and Moscow - today, the world has become a safer place. We fully support the peace agreement and hope Brussels will not undermine the peace process," he wrote on his X page.

According to the top Hungarian diplomat, the Russian and US presidents have taken a big step toward peace. He also welcomed the decision not to deliver strikes on energy infrastructure facilities and expressed hope that this agreement will be observed by both Ukraine and Russia.
