MOSCOW, March 11. /TASS/. Ukraine’s General Staff said that one of the targets of its drone attack was the Druzhba oil pipeline.
It said on its Telegram channel that the large-scale attack was organized by the special services and air force units. "Explosions have been recorded in the area of the Steel Horse linear production control station (Oryol Region of the Russian Federation), which monitors the technological processes of the Druzhba oil pipeline," it said.
Earlier, Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations Peter Szijjarto said that Budapest considers Ukraine’s drone attacks on the Druzhba oil pipeline, or any other infrastructure that transports energy from Russia to Europe, unacceptable.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the military shot down 343 Ukrainian drones over Moscow, the Moscow region, and other territories overnight, the largest attack in 2025 that killed three people. The Investigative Committee has opened a case into a terrorist attack. Residential buildings and other structures were damaged.
