Polish general says corruption, desertion, mass exodus main reasons for Ukraine’s failure

According to Boguslaw Pacek, Ukraine continues to fight in the conflict with Russia "due to reputation reasons"

MOSCOW, February 12. /TASS/. Corruption, desertion, and the departure of Ukrainians from the country are the main reasons for Ukraine’s defeat, Polish general Boguslaw Pacek told the WPolityce.pl news outlet.

"Three solid reasons: corruption, desertion, and intensive migration of Ukrainians," he said.

"Cancer is eating up Ukraine. Terrible corruption, which has not only slowed down during the war, but also gave birth to a new kind of misconduct: military," the general pointed out.

"Bribery, corruption, buying weapons that don't work just because they're cheap and you can make money, supplying troops with unfit munitions: this is just the tip of the iceberg," Boguslaw Pacek said.

According to him, Ukraine continues to fight in the conflict with Russia "due to reputation reasons." The general added that Ukraine could face a power failure due to the collapse of the national energy system.
