RABAT, December 8. /TASS/. Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ouedraogo has become the new Prime Minister of Burkina Faso, Burkina 24 news website reported.

Ouedraogo has until now served as Minister of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism and government spokesman.

Ouedraogo succeeds Joachim Kyelem, whose term ended on December 6, following a decree by Burkina Faso's President Ibrahim Traore. Before his government appointments, Ouedraogo served as a journalist, TV host, and member of the executive board of the national TV channel RTB.
