FBI informed about threats against Trump cabinet picks

US President-elect’s campaign spokesperson, Karoline Leavitt, said that a number of his cabinet nominees and administration appointees were the targets of bomb threats and swatting

WASHINGTON, November 27. /TASS/. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is aware of threats received by a number of nominees and appointees to US President-elect Donald Trump’s future administration, the service said in a statement on its website.

"The FBI is aware of numerous bomb threats and swatting incidents targeting incoming administration nominees and appointees, and we are working with our law enforcement partners," the statement says. "We take all potential threats seriously and, as always, encourage members of the public to immediately report anything they consider suspicious to law enforcement."

Trump’s campaign spokesperson, Karoline Leavitt, said that a number of Trump's cabinet nominees and administration appointees were the targets of bomb threats and swatting. She did not offer specifics on who was targeted or why.
