Western military aid to Kiev caused NATO division, says ex-Pentagon analyst

Former Pentagon analyst Lt. Col. Karen Kwiatkowski noted that most countries do not believe in the need to continue hostilities in Ukraine

UN, April 13. /TASS/. Western aid to Ukraine has split the ranks of NATO allies, former Pentagon analyst Lt. Col. Karen Kwiatkowski said.

"Western aid has caused NATO division, which has increased risk of escalation and silence common sense and peaceful voices," she said during a speech at a meeting of the UN Security Council on Western arms supplies to authorities in Kiev. The meeting was convened by Russia.

The former Pentagon analyst noted that most countries do not believe in the need to continue hostilities in Ukraine. According to her, the United States and NATO <...> "look at a bleeding Ukraine and say don't be still fight harder, die more bravely" <...>. "No one in Ukraine and most of the rest of the world believes that this is good advice." Kwiatkowski said.
