DUBAI, April 8. /TASS/. Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian took part in the opening of the new building of the Iranian embassy's consular section in Damascus, Iran's SNN TV channel reported.
The building, which previously housed the consular section of the Iranian Embassy, was destroyed in early April as a result of a strike by the Israeli Air Force.
The Iranian foreign minister had earlier arrived on an official visit to the Arab republic and held meetings with his Syrian counterpart Faisal Mekdad and President Bashar Assad.
