Hungary’s top diplomat rules out sending weapons, troops to Ukraine

"I’m only responsible for the position of Hungary, the Hungarian government which is very clear: we don’t send weapons and we don’t send troops," Peter Szijjarto stressed

SIRIUS /Federal Territory/, March 25. /TASS/. Hungary will never send weapons or troops to Ukraine, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto assured reporters.

"Hungary has a very clear position. This is a red line for us. We have never delivered weapons and we will never deliver weapons, either, to Ukraine, and it’s obvious that we don’t send troops," Hungary’s top diplomat said.

"I’m only responsible for the position of Hungary, the Hungarian government which is very clear: we don’t send weapons and we don’t send troops," Szijjarto added when asked to comment on a recent remark by French President Emmanuel Macron who said that sending ground troops to Ukraine should not be ruled out.
