NEW YORK, March 5. /TASS/. American entrepreneur Elon Musk has predicted the fall of the United States if the influx of illegal migrants into the country does not stop.

"America will fall if it tries to absorb the world. That is why I am banging the drum so much about this issue," he wrote on his X page. He commented on a post by a user, who wrote that the situation at the border will "destroy America."

Earlier, former US President Donald Trump said that the blood of numerous victims of crimes committed by illegal migrants lies on the current US President Joe Biden. According to him, a new type of crime has emerged in the United States, which he called "Biden migrant crimes."

Illegal migration has been a point of contention between southern states and the federal government for several years. The tensest situation has developed in the state of Texas, which is headed by Republican Governor Greg Abbott. He advocates tough measures to curb illegal migration and speaks out against the policy of the current US administration in this matter. To combat the influx of illegal immigrants, Abbott has begun sending them out by bus to major American cities, including Washington, D.C., New York and Chicago.
