Hezbollah fighters fire over 30 rockets at northern Israel

According to the Israel Defense Forces’ press service, the military recorded at least 10 projectiles fired from Lebanon into the country's border areas

BEIRUT, March 5. /TASS/. The fighters of the Shiite Hezbollah movement launched a rocket attack on the northern regions of Israel, firing over 30 projectiles, the Al Mayadeen TV channel reported.

According to the Telegram channel of the fighters, the main strike targeted an Israeli military base in the settlement of Gesher Haziv. "Our fighters carried out these operations in response to the bombing and shelling of peaceful settlements in southern Lebanon," the statement said. "As a result of direct hits, the enemy suffered casualties," the fighters added.

According to the Israel Defense Forces’ press service, the military recorded at least 10 projectiles fired from Lebanon into the country's border areas, some of which were intercepted. No casualties were reported.

Earlier, the Israeli Air Force and drones raided Hezbollah outposts in the settlements of Ayta ash Shab, Seddiqine and Sultaniyeh. Artillery fire was directed at the Wadi Hassan valley and near the villages of Jebbain and Yarin in southern Lebanon.
