US State Department says neither US nor Israel involved in blasts in Iran

This was stated by US State Department spokesman Matt Miller during a regular briefing, commenting on two explosions near a cemetery in the Iranian city of Kerman

WASHINGTON, January 3. /TASS/. The United States Administration is not involved in the explosions in Iran and sees no reason to believe Israel was behind them, Spokesperson for the US Department of State Matt Miller said during a regular briefing, when commenting on the twin blasts near a cemetery in the Iranian city of Kerman.

"It is too early, at least for us, to be able to say what might have caused it [the explosions], but I do want to address some of the irresponsible claims that I have seen circulate and say that Number one: the United States was not involved in any way, and any suggestion to the contrary is ridiculous. And Number two: we have no reason to believe that Israel was involved in this explosion," the diplomat said.
