Over ten settlements in southern Lebanon come under Israeli fire

According to the Lebanese Red Cross Society, two people were injured

BEIRUT, December 4. /TASS/. Israeli troops have opened artillery and tank fire at Lebanon in response to attacks by fighters of the armed wing of the Shiite Hezbollah party.

The Naharnet news portal reported that over ten communities came under Israeli fire. Shelling reports came from the villages of Alma el-Chaab, Kafr Killa, Kafr Shuba, Maroun El Ras, Meiss Ej Jabal, Mhaibib and Al-Edeis.

According to the Lebanese Red Cross Society, two people were injured. The authorities are ascertaining the extent of the damage.

Earlier, Hezbollah said on its Telegram channel that its units had hit Israeli military facilities in the settlements of Biranit, Misgav Am and Shtula, as well as command and observation centers in Karam al-Tuffah, Ragheb and Ruwaysat al-Alam. Twenty guided projectiles were fired at them. Shiite fighters claim that Israel has suffered casualties.
