BEIRUT, November 23. /TASS/. Israeli drones attacked Lebanon’s southern areas in response to shelling attacks on Jewish settlements by Hezbollah armed units.
According to the Al Hadath television channel, at least four civilians were killed in the drone attack.
The Al Nashra news portal said earlier that Israeli drones had bombed Shiite militants’ bases near the settlements of Beit-Lif, Zibkin, Jater, Beit-Jahun, and Ait al-Shaab.
Israeli artillery shelled the settlements of Aitrun, Deir-Siriyan, Alma, and Al-Labbuna. According to Al Nashra, ambulance cars and firefighting vehicles were seen rushing to these settlements.
According to the Lebanese Red Cross Society, nineteen civilians were killed as a result of Israeli attacks in the past 48 hours.
Since October 8, when the situation in southern Lebanon escalated, Hezbollah and Palestinian radical groups lost 92 fighters.
