Germany to allocate 1.3 bln euro as military aid to Kiev — defense minister

The new package will comprise in particular four more IRIS-T SLM air defense systems and artillery munitions

BERLIN, November 21. /TASS/. Germany will provide Ukraine with a new military aid package totaling 1.3 bln euro, defense minister of Germany Boris Pistorius said at the meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart Rustem Umerov, NTV television reported.

The new package will comprise in particular four more IRIS-T SLM air defense systems and artillery munitions.

Pistorius arrived in Kiev on Tuesday morning with an unannounced visit.
