CAIRO, November 14. /TASS/. At least 11,500 people have been killed in Gaza since the conflict escalated on October 7, Al Jazeera reports, citing the enclave’s government.

More than 29,000 people have suffered wounds in Gaza.

On November 12, the Palestinian Health Ministry said that the death toll from Israeli strikes had reached 11,180, and there were 4,609 children among those killed.

Tensions in the Middle East flared up again after Hamas militants infiltrated Israel from the Gaza Strip on October 7. The Palestinian movement described its attack as a response to the actions of Israeli authorities against the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Jerusalem's Temple Mount.
