CAIRO, November 9. /TASS/. To date, more than 100 planes carrying humanitarian aid for the residents of the Gaza Strip have landed at the airport of the Egyptian city of El-Arish in the northern Sinai Peninsula, the Al-Youm as-Sabia news outlet reported.

According to a representative of the operational headquarters for receiving international aid in North Sinai Province, to date, "101 planes have arrived at El Arish International Airport with deliveries of humanitarian aid for the people of Gaza." He specified that the aid had been provided by 29 countries and 13 regional and international organizations.

Rami Al Naser, director general of the Egyptian Red Crescent Society, said some time ago that the stocks of humanitarian aid sent by various countries and organizations to Egypt for its subsequent delivery to the residents of the Gaza Strip had almost run out. He appealed to all countries to continue airlifting supplies to Egypt for the people of the Palestinian enclave.
