BRATISLAVA, October 1. /TASS/. The Direction - Social Democracy (SMER) Party led by ex-Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico is won the parliamentary election in the country, chairman of the state election commission Ladislav Orosz said.

"The Direction - Social Democracy Party won the highest number of votes - 22.94%," the official informed.
