BERLIN, April 9. /TASS/. President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky may visit Germany in May for the first time since the start of Russia’s special military operation, the Bild am Sonntag newspaper reported on Sunday citing sources in government circles.
According to the sources, Zelensky may personally attend the presentation of the Charlemagne Prize in the city of Aachen in western Germany on May 14. However, the situation in the conflict zone may interfere with the trip, the newspaper writes. In this case, Zelensky will speak to the participants of the ceremony via video.
Since the beginning of the special military operation, Zelensky has already visited the United States, France and Poland, the newspaper noted.
