Ukraine slaps more sanctions on Russian entities — decree

A total of 14 restrictions are imposed on legal entities and involve blocking assets

MOSCOW, April 1. /TASS/. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky imposed sanctions against Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB), Federal Guard Service (FSO), Federation Council and Finance Ministry for the next ten years, according to the decree published on the Ukrainian presidential office’s website on Saturday.

According to the decree, sanctions are also imposed against the Chief Directorate for Special Programs of the Russian President, the Federal Service for Financial Monitoring, the Main Centre for Special Technologies of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of Russia’s Armed Forces and the Main Computation Center of the General Staff. In addition, the Russian Defense Ministry’s Main Directorate for Deep-Sea Research and V. P. Chkalov State Flight Test Center were added to the sanctions list.

A total of 14 restrictions are imposed on legal entities and involve blocking assets, terminating trade operations, revoking licenses, terminating trade agreements, joint projects and programs, and prohibiting technology and intellectual property transfer.
