Moldova requests handover of would-be terrorists from Transnistria

It is noted that investigative activities are to be carried out based on existing legislation

CHISINAU, March 14. /TASS/. The Moldovan authorities have asked the leadership of the unrecognized Republic of Transnistria to hand over those detained on suspicion of plotting a terrorist attack, a spokesperson for Moldova’s Bureau of Reintegration told TASS on Tuesday.

"Chisinau has asked Tiraspol to provide detailed information about the incident and hand over those detained under the responsibility of law enforcement agencies in order for investigative activities to be carried out based on existing legislation," the spokesperson said.
