BEIJING, February 27. /TASS/. Beijing will not stand for US threats and pressure over accusations of military support to Moscow, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said on Monday.
"The United States does not have the slightest right to take swipes at Chinese-Russian relations," she pointed out at a briefing, when asked to comment on the White House’s increasingly frequent allegations of China’s military assistance to Russia. "We by no means intend to tolerate threats and pressure from the United States," Mao Ning added.
According to her, Washington "keeps providing lethal weapons to Kiev," and continues to arm the island of Taiwan in breach of agreements with Beijing. "The US should offer the world explanations on the matter," she said.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated earlier that Washington planned to disclose some evidence proving China’s military assistance to Russia. He claimed that Beijing was "considering providing lethal support to Russia."
