Scholz says it’s unwise if arms sent to Kiev used for attacks on Russia

"This is on what we have also agreed and we agree that this is not going to happen," he assured

BERLIN, February 23. /TASS/. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has said it would be unreasonable if the weapons supplied to Ukraine could be used for attacking Russia’s territory.

"It’s absolutely obvious that everything we are doing is acceptable," Scholz said in an interview with the ZDF TV channel. "However, at the same time it’s always right to be wise and that’s why it would be unwise if those who are using the weapons which we are supplying [to Kiev] for example, could carry out an attack on Russia’s soil," the German chancellor said.

"This is on what we have also agreed and we agree that this is not going to happen," he assured.
