Supplies of German fighter jets to Ukraine out of question now — defense minister

According to the head of the department, "it will be possible to talk about further steps when the sky over Ukraine is safe"

BERLIN, February 15. /TASS/. The issue of delivering fighter jets from Germany to Ukraine is not being discussed at the moment, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said in an interview with the ARD television.

In his words, the issue "is not at the center of attention at the moment."

"When the skies over Ukraine are safe within the next three or four months, further steps may be discussed," he added.

German government officials said on many occasions that they did not consider fighter jet supplies to Ukraine to be feasible.
