Over 1.8 mln people arrived in Russia from DPR, LPR, and Ukraine - source

A source told that it including 289,000 children

MOSCOW, June 12. /TASS/. The number of displaced people from the Donetsk, Lugansk People's Republics and Ukraine has exceeded 1.8 mln, a source in law enforcement agencies told TASS on Sunday.

"As of Sunday morning, more than 1.8 mln people from the DPR, LPR, and Ukraine, including 289,000 children, crossed the Russian border," the source said.

The source specified that over 24,000 people, including almost 3,500 children, crossed the Russian border over the past day. Among those who arrived in Russia, 540,000 people have Russian citizenship, more than 954,000 people are citizens of the republics of Donbass, the rest are citizens of Ukraine and other states.
