YEREVAN, April 9. /TASS/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has held a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Armenian government’s press service said in a statement.
"The Armenian prime minister and the Russian president touched upon issues related to economic cooperation and agreed to discuss the agenda during Nikol Pashinyan’s official visit to Russia on April 19," the statement reads.
"The parties also touched upon Azerbaijani troops’ invasion of the zone of responsibility of Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh. Pashinyan said that Armenia expected Russian peacekeepers to take specific steps to ensure the withdrawal of Azerbaijani troops," the cabinet added.
"Pashinyan briefed the Russian president on the outcome of his meeting with Azerbaijani President Aliyev brokered by European Council President Charles Michel in Brussels on April 6," the statement said.
