MOSCOW, May 27. /TASS/. The International University Sports Federation (FISU) allowed all Russian athletes to compete under its auspices, Russian Sports Minister and President of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) Mikhail Degtyarev said.
"Even in disciplines where international federations maintain their suspensions of Russian athletes, FISU will apply the principle of neutral status instead of not allowing them to compete," he said. "This applies not only to individual disciplines but also to team sports."
"In disciplines where international federations have already restored Russian athletes’ rights, FISU is not imposing any additional restrictions - their participation is possible on the same terms as during other international events," he added.
