Over 600 civilians killed in Ukrainian attacks on Russia’s Belgorod Region since Feb 2022

According to Acting Governor Alexander Shuvayev, as many as 4,737 people have been injured

BELGOROD, August 12. /TASS/. More than 600 civilians, including over 20 children, have been killed in Ukrainian attacks on Russia’s borderline Belgorod Region since February 2022, Acting Governor Alexander Shuvayev said in an interview with TASS.

"Ukrainian and Western militants have killed 622 local residents, including 27 children. As many as 4,737 people have been injured, among them 277 children," he specified.

As of August 10, 191 civilians have been killed in the region since the beginning of the year, while 1,651 people, including 70 children, have suffered injuries.
