MOSCOW, August 7. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin’s public trust rating stands at 73.3%, according to a survey conducted from July 27 to August 2 by the All-Russian Center for Public Opinion Research (VCIOM).
"A total of 72.3% of poll participants gave a positive response when asked about their trust in Putin, while the approval rating of the president’s performance stood at 65.9%," the polling organization said.
The activities of the Russian government are approved by 44.8% of respondents, and the work of Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin by 46% of respondents. Trust in Mishustin was expressed by 55.7% of respondents.
Respondents also expressed their attitude towards the heads of parliamentary parties. Trust in the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Russian Communist Party (CPRF) Gennady Zyuganov amounts to 31%, the leader of "A Just Russia" Sergey Mironov - 27.9%, the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) Leonid Slutsky - 21.4%, the Chairman of the "New People" party Alexey Nechaev - 12.3%.
The level of support for "United Russia" is 32.1%, "New People" - 8.6%, the CPRF - 10.4%, the LDPR - 9.3%, "A Just Russia" - 5.8%.
