Moscow court fines Apple $93,000 for LGBT propaganda — source

MOSCOW, May 19. /TASS/. The Tagansky District Court of Moscow fined Apple $93,000 for promoting the international LGBT movement (recognized as extremist and banned Russia), a court source told TASS.

"Apple was fined a total of 7.5 million rubles by the court under three protocols for LGBT propaganda," the agency's source said.

Earlier, the court issued a separate ruling against Apple Distribution International LTD, citing a Russian law that bans promoting non-traditional sexual relations. The company was found guilty under Part 3 of Article 6.21 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation and fined $31,000.
