Over 3,300 foreign mercenaries take part in armed conflict in Ukraine — investigators

"A total of 871 now have a warrant out for their arrest," the statement says

MOSCOW, March 27. /TASS/. According to information obtained by the Russian Investigative Committee, over 3,300 foreign mercenaries are taking part in the Ukrainian conflict, the press service of the committee has told TASS.

While addressing Russian students, Investigative Committee Chairman Alexander Bastrykin said that "investigators have obtained information about more than 3,300 mercenaries from over 70 foreign countries taking part in the conflict," the press service said in a statement.

"A total of 871 now have a warrant out for their arrest," the statement says.

Bastrykin "attributed the majority of civilian casualties in the conflict to attacks on civilian infrastructure sites with explosive devices and firearms, predominantly foreign-made," the committee said.

The meeting with students of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) was devoted to the subject of the Kiev regime’s war crimes, and criminal responsibility for vandalizing World War Two memorial sites abroad.
