St. Petersburg International United Cultures Forum to be held in first half of September

The main topic of the forum will be the "Return to culture - new opportunities," Tatiana Golikova said

MOSCOW, March 4. /TASS/. The St. Petersburg International United Cultures Forum will be held in early September this year, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatiana Golikova told TASS.

"We have accumulated the experience of preparing the united cultures forum and are improving it from year to year. The platform is working successfully and brings together cultural figures of the world, despite the COVID period and the forum restart in the updated forum, when certain countries attempted to ‘cancel’ Russian culture. The forum will be held in the first half of September this year," Golikova said.

The main topic of the forum will be the "Return to culture - new opportunities," the deputy prime minister said. Business program venues will traditionally be the General Staff Building of the State Hermitage and spaces of the State Russian Museum and the State Academic Capella of St. Petersburg.

The cultural program of the forum will comprise a concert on the Palace Square and the gala concert of opera and ballet starts in the Mikhailovsky Theater.
