OANA’s 20th General Assembly to be held in Moscow in 2025

It is reported that TASS was reelected as the Vice President of OANA

TEHRAN, October 25. /TASS/. The jubilee 20th General Assembly of the Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agencies (OANA) will be held in 2025 in Moscow and TASS will act as its organizer, participants in the General Assembly in Tehran decided at the closing meeting.

TASS was reelected as the Vice President of OANA.

Representatives of twenty five news agencies from twenty countries attend the General Assembly held with support of the Iranian news agency IRNA. TASS Director General Sergey Mikhailov heads the TASS delegation.

OANA was founded in 1961 on the initiative of UNESCO.
