MOSCOW, March 9. /TASS/. More than 40 residents of Mariupol were able to leave the city over the past day, including six children, Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) People’s Militia deputy head Eduard Basurin said in an interview with Russia 24 TV news channel.
"Over the past day, civilians were able to get out of there themselves. [There are] 42 people, six of them children," Basurin noted.
He stressed that the situation in the city is still difficult, nationalists continue to hinder the work of humanitarian corridors.
