LPR forces liberate JCCC observer Kosyak held in captivity — report

Andrey Kosyak was captured on October 13, 2021 by a Ukrainian sabotage group

LUGANSK, March 5. /TASS/. Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) People’s militia liberated the republic’s representative to the Joint Ceasefire Coordination and Control Center, who was captured by Ukrainian forces at the contact line and was held in captivity for about 5 months, Luganskinformcenter reported Saturday.

According to the report, observer Andrey Kosyak "was freed from the Starobelsk detention facility," after the city was liberated.

Andrey Kosyak was captured on October 13, 2021 by a Ukrainian sabotage group in the withdrawal area near Zolotoye. Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republic demanded that Kiev liberated the JCCC observer immediately, but Kiev refused.
