Humanitarian corridor in Mariupol was used by 17 people — DPR official

No one has left Volnovakha so far, Eduard Basurin noted

MOSCOW, March 5. /TASS/. A humanitarian corridor in Mariupol was used by 17 people, while no one left Volnovakha yet, Deputy Head of the People’s Militia of the Donetsk People’s Republic Eduard Basurin said on Saturday.

"According to the latest information that I have, 17 people were able to escape from there: 12 adults and five children," he said on the Rossiya-1 television channel. "No one has left Volnovakha <...> so far."

He said that the opportunity to leave Volnovakha through the humanitarian corridor is still being provided.

According to Basurin, the DPR forces remain committed to the ceasefire.
