MOSCOW, February 1. /TASS/. The infrastructure created in the Moscow Region to vaccinate residents against COVID-19 makes it possible to service more than 88,000 people a week, Moscow Region Health Minister Svetlana Strigunkova said Monday at a working meeting with colleagues.
"The infrastructure which we have created now allows us to practically more than double the plan. <…> We double the number of appointments in [vaccination] rooms. <…> Therefore, we can correspondingly vaccinate 88,800 people a week with this infrastructure in place," she said.
Strigunkova added that the daily plan will be raised from 50 to 100 residents at one vaccination site. "Now the main task is to manage this flow of patients and those wishing [to get vaccinated]," the minister added.
