Oryol air trials to be associated with Russian Orbital Station’s deployment — Roscosmos

"Roscosmos is developing a federal project on the creation of a space complex ROS," Yury Borisov said

MOSCOW, April 12. /TASS/. Roscosmos plans to associate the air trials of the Oryol spacecraft with the deployment of the new Russian Orbital Station (ROS), CEO of the state corporation Yury Borisov said in an interview with TASS.

"Initially the air trials of the promising transport vehicle (Oryol - TASS) were planned to be conducted together with docking to the International Space Station. But considering the fact that we concurrently create a new orbital station, it seems logical to associate the spacecraft’s systems and the ROS, to synchronize air trials with the ROS’ deployment," he said.

"Roscosmos is developing a federal project on the creation of a space complex ROS. It will stipulate funds for the creation of ground infrastructure for launch of modules and promising transport vehicles from the Vostochny spaceport," Borisov added.
