Belgorod shelled twice so far on Wednesday - governor

At dawn, door-to-door inspections will be carried out to identify damage to buildings and start repairs

MOSCOW, January 3. /TASS/. The Russian city of Belgorod has been shelled twice so far on Wednesday, according to Vyacheslav Gladkov, the Belgorod Region governor.

"The situation in Belgorod continues to remain tense. There were two bombardments since this morning. Air defenses engaged," he said on Telegram.

At dawn, door-to-door inspections will be carried out to identify damage to buildings and start repairs, he said. City Mayor Valentin Demidov will participate in the inspections, according to the governor.
