Two Ukrainian drones shot down in west Russia, three intercepted off Crimea

MOSCOW, November 16. /TASS/. Two drones have been shot down by Russian air defenses above the western Russian Bryansk Region, while three more were intercepted off Crimea, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Thursday.

"In the early hours of November 16, the Kiev regime’s attempt to stage a terrorist attack involving fixed-wing drones was foiled. On-duty air defense units intercepted two Ukrainian drones above the territory of the Bryansk Region. Three more UAVs were intercepted above the Black Sea, near the coast of the Republic of Crimea," the ministry said.

Bryansk region Governor Alexander Bogomaz specified that the drones were shot down on the approach to Bryansk. "There are no casualties or damage," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
