DONETSK, April 8. /TASS/. Over the past day, the Ukrainian armed forces fired 18 times at the settlements of the People’s Republic of Donetsk (DPR), firing 97 shells, as a result of which a woman was killed, 18 more people were injured. The DPR mission to the Joint Control and Coordination Center on issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC) announced this on Telegram on Saturday.

It is noted that Ukrainian troops fired on the DPR from 155 mm artillery, which is standard for the armies of NATO countries, and multiple launch rocket systems. The areas of seven settlements of the republic were under attack: Donetsk, Makeyevka, Gorlovka, Yasinovataya, Yakovlevka, Vladimirovka and Yelenovka.

During the shelling of the Voroshilovsky district of Donetsk, a civilian was killed, 18 more people from different settlements were injured. Due to the strikes of the Ukrainian armed forces, nine residential buildings, as well as four civilian infrastructure facilities, were damaged, the mission added. On April 6, the mission registered 17 attacks by the Ukrainian armed forces.
