Health problems detected in almost 70% of minors during checkups in LPR — health ministry

LUGANSK, April 8. /TASS/. Almost 95,000 children have undergone medical examinations in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) since they were launched last November, and some health conditions were detected in 69.6% of them, LPR Health Minister Natalya Paschenko said on Friday.

On October 5, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered to carry out mass medical examinations of the children in new Russian regions. He clarified that it should be done in kindergartens and schools by teams fielded from various Russian regions.

"In the Lugansk People’s Republic, 94,870 children were examined from November 01, 2022 to April 07, 2023. A variety of health conditions were detected in 66,046 children (69.6% of the total number of examined children). Of those, health problems were detected in 50,251 minors for the first time," she wrote on her Telegram channel.
