The majority of Kremlin staffers have already submitted their income declarations, Dmitry Peskov has said

MOSCOW, March 31. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has already submitted the declaration of income for 2022, his spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said.

"Yes, he already did," Peskov said, answering to a corresponding question from TASS.

In his words, the majority of Kremlin staffers have already submitted their income declarations. "Practically all of them did," he said, adding that the deadline expires on March 31.

Earlier, in accordance with the Russian legislation, government officials, civil servants, employees of the Russian Central Bank, state corporations and other organizations, were obliged to submit their declarations of income, as well as of income of their spouses and underage children, until April 1. After that, those declarations were published on official websites of relevant organizations and state bodies.

Peskov said earlier that the procedure of publishing declarations may be changed in the light of the special military operation, but officials will nevertheless continue submitting those papers to anti-corruption bodies.
