Admiralty Shipyards starts building two diesel submarines on Russia Day

The ceremony of the start of construction was attended by Nikolay Yevmenov, the commander-in-chief of the Russian Navy

ST. PETERSBURG, June 12. /TASS/. Admiralty Shipyards started building two diesel submarines on Russia Day that’s celebrated this Sunday, the company said in a statement.

"The submarines Vologda and Yaroslavl became the fourth and fifth vessels of the 677 project series that are under construction at Admiralty Shipyards for the Russian Navy," the statement said.

The ceremony of the start of construction was attended by Nikolay Yevmenov, the commander-in-chief of the Russian Navy.
