MOSCOW, July 25. /TASS/. Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov would not comment on speculation surrounding Russia’s alleged links to leaking US Democratic Presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton’s official correspondence.

Clinton’s campaign manager, Robby Mook earlier said that hackers who may have ties to Russia are allegedly assisting her rival in the presidential race, Donald Trump. He alleged that they had stolen Democratic National Committee online correspondence. These E-mails were released on WikiLeaks’ website and indicate that Democratic Party representatives were actively searching for ways to support Clinton during the primaries instead of remaining neutral, while trying to discredit her rival in the nomination, Bernie Sanders.

"They (democrats) spoke about hackers (who allegedly have ties to Russia)," Peskov said. "Mr. Trump Jr. has already strongly responded to them denying all this."

Donald Trump’s son earlier described Mook’s statements as "phony," adding that he "cannot think of bigger lies.".
