Donbass’ primary lithium and titanium deposits under control of Russia — head of DPR

Denis Pushilin revealed that the development of these deposits in the region had not started yet as the priority task at present was to clear these territories of mines

DONETSK, February 12. /TASS/. The primary lithium and titanium reserves in Donbass are under the control of Russia, Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin said on the air of the Soloviev Live TV channel.

"The main reserves are located in Donbass, on the territory of the DPR and LPR and the Dnepropetrovsk [region], but there are different quantities there. But the primary ones - I vouch for lithium and titanium - they are on our territory, they are already located on the liberated territory," Pushilin said.

He added that the development of these deposits in the region has not started yet as the priority task now is to clear these territories of mines.
