MOSCOW, April 1. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin and the leadership of the presidential administration filed income and expense declarations for 2024 within the established deadlines, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told TASS.
"Everyone filed declarations within the established deadlines, including the President," he said.
By law, high-ranking civil servants must submit declarations of their income and expenses, as well as the income and expenses of their spouses and minor children, annually by April 1.
However, since 2023, this information is no longer made public: at the end of December 2022, Putin signed a decree according to which declarations of officials on income, expenses and other information about their property are not to be published on department websites and in the media for the duration of the special military operation.
According to Putin's most recently published declaration (for 2021), he owns a 77-square-meter apartment and an 18-square-meter garage, two vintage GAZ M21 Volgas, a Niva SUV, and a Skif trailer. The President's income for 2021 was about 10.2 million rubles ($120,183). The same properties are listed in the declaration that Putin submitted when he ran for President of the Russian Federation in the 2024 elections.
