Russia, China actively developing humanitarian ties across wide range of areas — envoys

Nikolay Nozdrev and Wu Jianghao highlighted the official launch of the cross years of Russian-Chinese cooperation in education, which took place in May of this year

Russia and China are actively developing humanitarian ties in the fields of culture, cinema, and sports, as well as in youth and tourism exchanges, Russian and Chinese ambassadors to Japan, Nikolay Nozdrev and Wu Jianghao, said in a joint article published by their respective diplomatic missions in Tokyo.

"Humanitarian ties in culture, cinema, and sports, as well as in the sphere of youth and tourism exchanges, are actively developing. The introduction of a reciprocal visa-free regime facilitates the expansion of both tourism and business and professional contacts," they said.

Diplomatic representatives of the two countries also highlighted the official launch of the cross years of Russian-Chinese cooperation in education, which took place in May of this year. "This large-scale humanitarian project is designed to give fresh impetus to academic exchanges, inter-university cooperation, and personnel training in high-tech sectors," they noted.
